40 Shining Crown

40 Shining Crown: EGT's Classic Fruit Reels with a Crown Twist

Fruit-Machine Theme and Symbols

There is no elaborate storyline here, and that is the point. 40 Shining Crown leans fully into classic slot iconography. The reels are filled with cherries, lemons, oranges, plums, grapes, and watermelons as the lower-paying symbols, while bells and bright red sevens deliver the bigger line wins. The crown sits at the top of the hierarchy, both visually and mechanically. Warm colors, a familiar reel frame, and crisp, uncluttered graphics make the game instantly readable, which is exactly what fans of retro-style slots tend to want.

How the 40 Paylines Work

Wins are formed by landing matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right across the 40 fixed lines. Because all paylines are always active, your stake covers the full board on every spin, so there are no line settings to manage, just choose your total bet and spin. This straightforward structure keeps the focus on the symbols themselves and makes 40 Shining Crown easy to pick up for newcomers while still familiar to seasoned EGT players.

The Crown Wild

The crown is the game's Wild and its most rewarding regular symbol. It substitutes for all standard symbols (but not the scatters) to complete combinations, and when it lands in the right spot it can expand to cover an entire reel. A fully stacked crown reel can line up multiple winning combinations at once, which is where some of the slot's most satisfying base-game payouts come from.

Scatters, Jackpot, and Gamble

40 Shining Crown uses a dual-scatter setup, a Dollar scatter and a Star scatter, each paying out independently when enough land anywhere on the reels. Alongside these, the game can randomly trigger a mystery jackpot round, where a pick-and-match bonus offers a shot at one of several fixed progressive prizes. Finally, EGT's classic Gamble feature lets you risk an eligible win on a single red-or-black card guess, doubling it if you call the color correctly. There is no free spins round; the action stays grounded in the base game, the wild, and the jackpot.

RTP, Volatility, and Max Win

EGT Digital does not publish an official RTP figure for this slot. Its medium volatility means wins arrive at a fairly steady pace, with a balance between smaller line hits and the occasional larger payout from expanded crowns or the jackpot.

Betting Range and Mobile Play

Stakes stretch from a low of 0.10 per spin, giving the game a wide enough range for cautious players and higher rollers alike. You can try it here in free demo mode to get a feel for the paylines, the expanding crown, and the gamble before committing real funds.
