40 Super Hot

Eight Symbols, One Red-Hot Paytable

The reels use eight symbols in the traditional fruit-machine style: cherries, oranges, lemons, plums, watermelons and grapes make up the lower tier, rendered with a shiny, jewelled finish against a deep red background. The Seven is the wild — it substitutes for any other paying symbol to complete a line. The star is the scatter, paying regardless of position and topping the base-game paytable. Wins pay left to right from the first reel, and with all 40 lines active on every spin, several combinations often land at once.

Jackpot Cards: The Hidden Progressive Bonus

Jackpot Cards can trigger at random after a spin. Twelve face-down cards appear, and you pick one at a time until three of the same suit are revealed. Each suit maps to a jackpot tier — Club (lowest), Diamond, Heart, and Spade (highest) — and all four are progressive, so their values grow until someone hits them. This bonus is the main route to a payout above the base game's 1,000x line-bet ceiling.

The Gamble Feature

After a winning spin you can gamble the payout on a card-color guess: a correct call doubles the win, a wrong one forfeits it. Up to five consecutive attempts are allowed, and the feature is entirely optional — skip it and collect the base win if you prefer.

40 Super Hot RTP and Volatility

The published RTP is 95.81%, slightly below the 96% benchmark many players use as a reference point. Amusnet rates the volatility at the lowest level of its scale, so wins land often and tend to stay small — a profile that keeps balance swings mild and suits longer, steadier sessions. There is no free-spins mode; the Jackpot Cards bonus supplies the upside.

Where It Sits Among Amusnet's Fruit Slots

Within Amusnet's fruit range, 40 Super Hot is the mid-sized option: it delivers more frequent base-game activity than the studio's 20-line classics, while staying leaner than 100 Super Hot, which extends the same concept to 100 paylines. 100 Burning Hot is paced similarly and shares the low-volatility fruit DNA. The four-tier progressive jackpot is the differentiator — many fruit slots in this mould offer only a gamble feature, so here there is always a larger prize orbiting the session.

40 Super Hot is best for players who find modern video slots too busy and want simple payline rules with one genuine bonus mechanic. It is not the pick if you need free spins or climbing multipliers — but what it does, it does cleanly.
