4TP Book of AfricRa

4TP Book of AfricRa Slot

4TP Book of AfricRa is a 5-reel, 3-row slot from 4ThePlayer, released in April 2026 through the Yggdrasil YGS Masters program. It runs on 10 fixed paylines with a 94% RTP — below the 96% industry average — paired with high volatility and a 7,500x maximum win. Bets run from £0.20 to £20.00 per spin.

The setting blends Egyptian mythology with anthropomorphic animal gods. Four high-value symbols — Giraffe, Crocodile, Hippopotamus, and Lion — sit above the standard A–K–Q–J–10 card ranks.

Symbol Pots: How the Bonus Builds

Six pots sit above the reels, one for each regular paying symbol. On any spin, Coin symbols land and are automatically collected into these pots. Fill a pot and it triggers AfricRa Free Spins with that pot's symbol activated. If multiple pots fill on the same triggering spin, multiple symbols activate at once.

You get 10 free spins when the bonus fires. Each activated symbol expands to cover full reels and pays scattered across all 10 lines — the standard Book-of expanding mechanic, but with the potential for several symbols active simultaneously. Coins keep landing during free spins, so new pots can fill mid-bonus and add more expanding symbols for the remainder of the round.

Wilds and Feature Buy

The Wild substitutes for all paying symbols in the base game but does not appear during free spins — the expanding symbols handle that role instead. Wilds only land on reels 2 through 5; reel 1 is excluded.

Where regulations allow, two Feature Buy options are available. The standard buy enters AfricRa Free Spins directly. The Mega Free Spins buy guarantees at least one high-paying symbol (Giraffe, Crocodile, Hippopotamus, or Lion) is active when the bonus begins — useful if you want to skip the base-game grind and go straight for a big-symbol round.

Is It Worth Playing?

The 94% RTP is a genuine drawback — you give up ground compared to most modern releases before a spin is played. That said, the pot system adds a layer of transparency missing from most Book-of games: you can see exactly how close each symbol is to triggering, which makes the base game feel active rather than passive. The 7,500x ceiling is competitive for high-volatility slots without overpromising. Best suited to players comfortable with long dry spells in exchange for a meaningful bonus when it hits.

If 4ThePlayer's collector-style mechanics appeal to you, 4 Fantastic Fish uses a coin-collect system across a five-reel underwater grid, while 4 Fantastic Lobsters and 4 Fantastic Vikings Go Fishing carry the same framework into different themes with their own volatility profiles.
