Lightning Gorilla 2 is a high volatility slot by Lightning Box Games with an RTP of 96.1%. This game plays across 5 reels. Play Lightning Gorilla 2 for free on Slottomat, compare the core stats quickly, and browse trusted slot offers available in your market.
The game plays out across 5 reels and 4 rows with 40 fixed paylines, so every spin covers the full board with no payline toggling to worry about. Stakes run from 0.10 up to 100 per spin, which gives the slot a wide range for both cautious demo testers and players who want to push the volatility harder. Symbols are the usual Lightning Box mix: carved-stone card suits making up the low end, with jungle icons and the gorilla himself carrying the premium payouts.
Lightning Gorilla 2 ships with a 96.1% RTP, a fair, middle-of-the-road figure for a modern video slot. Volatility is high, and you will feel it in the base game where dead spins are common while you wait for scatters to gather. This is a slot built around its features rather than frequent line wins, so the maths reward patience: long quiet stretches punctuated by the occasional meaningful payout.
The headline feature is the Lightning re-spin round. It awards three re-spins played across one to five active reels, and each new lightning scatter that lands on an active reel resets the counter back to three. During the round, colossal symbols measuring 2x2 or 3x3 can drop in and split into individual cash values and jackpot prizes, which is where the bulk of the game's bigger wins come from.
Alongside the re-spins, Lightning Gorilla 2 runs a Maximum Boltage collection mechanic. The Maximum Boltage Wheel fills during base-game play and, once charged, spins to award cash prizes, the Mini/Minor/Major/Grand jackpots, or the Lightning Respin feature. It is a slow-burn meta-feature that gives the long base-game sessions a secondary goal to work towards.
The official max win is up to 6,250x (min bet) / 1,250x (max bet). That is a sensible target for a high-volatility game of this style rather than the five-figure multipliers some newer releases advertise, and it sets honest expectations: this is a chase for one solid feature hit, topped up by the jackpot wheel, not a lottery-ticket max-win hunt.
Lightning Gorilla 2 is built to scale cleanly across desktop, tablet and mobile, with the same bright visuals and re-spin animations on iOS and Android. You can try the slot free, which is the best way to learn the re-spin and boltage features to such a high-variance game.
