Core Mechanics

Every win triggers a cascade: winning symbols disappear and new ones fall from above. Chains keep going until no new wins land. What makes Roadquake distinct is the Multiplier Hotspot system. Every grid position where a win lands becomes a hotspot, starting at 2x. Hit the same position again and the multiplier doubles — 4x, 8x, 16x, all the way up to 1,024x. Hotspots reset between base game spins but carry over during Free Spins.

Special Symbols

Four special symbols add explosive variation to each cascade:

• Minigun — transforms one symbol type into another (two types in Hyper form).
• Bomb — explodes a 2×3 area and multiplies all hotspots in range by 4x (3×3 area in Hyper form).
• Rocket — clears a full reel or row and upgrades hotspots in its path by 2x; the Hyper variant fires twice.
• Spot Upgrade — applies 4x upgrades to existing hotspots.

Each symbol has a standard and a Hyper variant. Hyper versions only appear during the Super and Mega Free Spins tiers.

Free Spins

Four or more Scatters trigger Free Spins. The tier depends on how many Scatters land:

• Free Spins (4 Scatters) — 7 spins, standard symbols only.
• Super Free Spins (5 Scatters) — 7 spins, all special symbols appear in Hyper form.
• Mega Free Spins (5+ Scatters) — 7 spins, all grid positions start with a 2x hotspot already active.

In all three tiers, hotspots do not reset between spins. A multiplier you build on spin one carries into spin two and beyond.
