4 Chili Amigos

4 Chili Amigos: Hold and Win

4 Chili Amigos: Hold and Win is a Mexican fiesta-themed slot from Playson, released in May 2026.

The RTP is 95.7%, which sits just below the 96% industry average. Keep that in mind if you're comparing it to other Hold and Win titles.

Hold and Win Bonus

The main bonus triggers when chili pepper symbols land on the reels. You get 3 re-spins, and the counter resets each time a new symbol lands. Three chili colors each activate a different feature:

• Violet peppers — Multi: Adds multipliers of 2x–5x to three random grid positions.
• Yellow peppers — Mystery: Each yellow pepper reveals a random cash prize of 20x–75x, or a Mini, Minor, or Major jackpot coin.
• Green peppers — Collect: Gathers all visible cash prizes and adds them to the green pepper's own value.

Piñata Symbols can land during the bonus and convert into a random chili color, potentially activating a new feature or stacking onto one already in play.

Super Bonus Game

A red Super Chili symbol in the base game triggers the Super Bonus, which expands the grid to 5×5. All three chili features can appear simultaneously here. The Grand Jackpot — for filling all 15 cells in the standard bonus — pays 1,000x. Combined with the coin prizes, the theoretical ceiling is 15,000x.

Is It Worth Playing?

If you like color-coded collect mechanics and tiered jackpots, 4 Chili Amigos delivers a more structured version of the Hold and Win format than most. The Super Bonus's expanded grid and 10,000x jackpot give high-variance chasers something to aim for. The 95.7% RTP is a minor downside — budget sessions accordingly.

If you enjoy Playson's Hold and Win series, you'll find similar mechanics in 4 Pots Riches: Hold and Win and 4 Supercharged Clovers: Hold and Win. For a different Playson theme with coin-collect action, Wolf Land: Hold and Win and 3 Magic Lamps: Hold and Win are worth a look. Fans of the chili theme might also enjoy 3 Chillies and Joker.
