88 Drums: High 5 Games Brings the Dragon-Themed LootLink Beat

Reels, Ways to Win and Symbols

The action takes place on a 5x3 layout offering 243 ways to win. The symbol set blends the usual high-card icons (J, Q, K and A) with themed objects such as lanterns, drums and golden charms. The dragon acts as the wild, substituting for regular paying symbols to complete combinations, and it does more than just plug gaps. Collecting wild dragons is what feeds into one of the game's two LootLink bonuses, so even the base game keeps building toward something bigger.

How the Free Games Bonus Works

The free spins round is triggered by the gold gong scatter. Landing three, four or five gongs awards 10, 15 or 25 free spins respectively. The drum symbols carry extra weight during this round, and the free games keep the high-volatility character of the base game, giving the reels room to chain together the larger wins the math model is designed to deliver.

Scatter LootLink and Drum LootLink Features

Two hold-and-win features sit at the heart of 88 Drums. The Scatter LootLink bonus is activated by landing five or more green orb scatters, which open an independent grid with locked rows that unlock as more symbols land; filling the grid is how the top prizes are reached. The Drum LootLink bonus is awarded after wild dragons are collected, sending you up a prize ladder based on the drums you accumulate. Both features tie back to the "88" theme and are where the game concentrates its biggest payout potential.

Power Bet and Bonus Buy Options

For players who want to reach the features faster, 88 Drums includes a Power Bet ante option and a bonus buy. These let you raise your stake or pay directly for a shot at the bonus rounds rather than waiting for them to trigger naturally. They are entirely optional, and standard play without them is fully supported.

RTP, Volatility and Max Win

Its high volatility means you should expect swings: stretches of quiet spins punctuated by the potential for substantial hits, almost always tied to the LootLink features or free games.

Betting Range and Mobile Play

The betting range is flexible enough to suit both cautious and higher-stakes players, making it easy to settle into a stake that fits your balance before chasing the features. The game is built for web and mobile, so it plays well on smartphones and tablets as well as desktop, with the LootLink grids and free spins scaling cleanly to smaller screens.

Other High 5 Games and 88-Themed Slots to Try

If the LootLink mechanics and dragon theme appeal to you, the wider High 5 Games catalog is worth exploring on the High 5 Games provider page. Fans of the studio's feature-rich style might enjoy Double Da Vinci Diamonds with its split-symbol reels, or 1000 Pearls for another high-ways setup. If it is specifically the lucky-eight Asian theme that draws you in, 88 Fortunes Megaways is a natural next spin.
