How the Way Out Ways Grid Works

The game opens on a 6-reel, 4-row grid that pays left to right, giving 4,096 ways to win at the default size. Arrow symbols land on the reels during play, and each one extends that reel's height by 1, 2, or 3 rows, either upward or downward. As reels stretch, the grid can reach a full 6x10 configuration, at which point 1,000,000 ways to win are active. The shape of the grid changes from spin to spin.

Locked Wilds

The wild substitutes for every symbol except the scatter. When a reel reaches its full expanded height, a Locked Wild is placed on a random position somewhere across reels 2 to 5.
