Egypt Fire 2: A Scorching Sequel from 3 Oaks Gaming
Game Theme and Visual Design
Egypt Fire 2 immerses you in a classic ancient Egyptian setting, but with a distinct, colourful edge. The reels are set against a backdrop of a majestic desert temple interior, with towering pillars and hieroglyph-covered walls. The symbols are a crisp mix of thematic icons, including the Eye of Horus, an Ankh, a Scarab Beetle, and beautifully rendered playing card suits (A, K, Q, J, 10) adorned with golden accents. The color palette is rich with deep blues, golds, and sandy hues, creating a visually appealing and authentic atmosphere. The soundtrack features mysterious, ambient music with traditional Egyptian melodies, enhancing the sense of exploration. Every spin is accompanied by satisfying sound effects, and the game truly comes alive during its bonus features with dramatic animations and fiery visuals.
How to Play Egypt Fire 2: Rules and Paytable
Before your desert quest begins, set your desired bet using the coin value and bet level controls. The game features 20 fixed paylines, meaning all lines are active on every spin. Winning combinations require three or more matching symbols to land on consecutive reels starting from the leftmost reel. The highest paying standard symbol is the Eye of Horus, followed by the Ankh and the Scarab. The Wild symbol, represented by a glowing pyramid, substitutes for all regular symbols to help form winning combinations. For players who prefer a faster pace, the game includes a convenient Autoplay function, allowing you to set a predetermined number of spins to play automatically.
Bonus Features and Special Symbols
Where Egypt Fire 2 truly ignites is in its bonus round. The game focuses on a thrilling, multi-layered Free Spins feature, triggered by landing three or more Scatter symbols (depicted as a fiery pharaoh's mask) anywhere on the reels.
- Free Spins with Multiplier Wilds: Landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatters awards an initial 10, 15, or 20 free spins respectively. During the Free Spins round, special Expanding Wild symbols can appear. When a Wild lands, it expands to cover the entire reel and comes with a random multiplier attached—typically 2x, 3x, or 5x. If multiple Expanding Wilds land on the same spin, their multipliers multiply together, leading to potentially explosive wins.
- Retriggering Free Spins: The excitement doesn't end there. Landing 3 or more Scatter symbols during the Free Spins round will retrigger additional spins, giving you more chances to build your win multiplier.
- Gamble Feature (Optional): After any standard win, players have the option to gamble their winnings in a classic double-or-nothing card guess game. This high-risk feature can multiply wins but can also result in losing them entirely.
Volatility, Betting Range, and Max Win Potential
Egypt Fire 2 is unequivocally a high volatility slot. This design choice means that base game spins may frequently result in smaller wins or no win at all, building anticipation for the substantial payouts that can occur during the bonus features. The maximum win potential in Egypt Fire 2 is a key attraction, with the combination of Expanding Wilds with multipliers during free spins capable of creating staggering payouts. While the exact theoretical maximum is not always advertised, slots of this caliber from 3 Oaks Gaming are known for offering win potentials well into the thousands of times your stake.
Egypt Fire 2 vs. Other Popular Egyptian Slots
The Egyptian theme is a cornerstone of online slots, but Egypt Fire 2 carves its own niche. Unlike more narrative-driven titles like Book of Dead, Egypt Fire 2 focuses on a potent, straightforward free spins mechanic with multiplier wilds, similar in intensity to some titles found in our Wild Multiplier Slots collection. It distinguishes itself from its predecessor and other sequels by refining the bonus trigger and multiplier system. Compared to other 3 Oaks games, such as the drum-heavy rhythm of 4 African Drums or the classic fruit machine vibe of 777 Fruity Coins, Egypt Fire 2 offers a more traditional thematic experience with a modern, high-volatility engine. Fans of sequels will also want to check out Lucky Penny 2 for another successful follow-up from the provider.
