Festive Fruits Meet Classic Reels in Hot Fruits Xmas
Reels, Grid and Paylines
Hot Fruits Xmas plays out on a five-reel, three-row grid with 20 fixed paylines. That is a step up from the single-line stripped-back machines of old: with 20 active lines running across the grid, there are far more chances for combinations to land on any given spin. Wins are evaluated left to right across adjacent reels along the fixed paylines, keeping the gameplay easy to follow while still giving the reels room to surprise you.
RTP and Volatility
The game runs at a return-to-player rate of 96.21%, which sits right around the industry average and is a fair figure for a classic-style fruit slot. Volatility is on the medium side, so the balance between how often wins arrive and how large they tend to be should feel even rather than swinging hard in either direction. That makes it a comfortable choice for players who want steady sessions without long dry spells or extreme variance.
Symbols and Festive Design
The symbol set is built around the staples of the fruit-machine genre: cherries, lemons, plums, bells and the ever-present lucky seven, all given a light seasonal makeover with snow and holiday touches. Sitting on top of these are the festive GIFT symbols, which drive the bonus side of the game. The festive presentation is the main point of difference from Amatic's other Hot Fruits releases, dressing up the standard reels in winter colors and decorations. The look is clean and uncluttered, prioritizing readability over flashy animation so the symbols and paylines stay clear at a glance.
Gift Symbols and the Xmas Bonus
Despite its classic styling, Hot Fruits Xmas carries more than just base spins. Its headline mechanic is the Xmas Bonus, a respin feature triggered when six or more GIFT symbols land on the reels. The bonus begins with three respins, and the counter resets back to three each time a new GIFT symbol drops in, so the round keeps going as long as fresh gifts keep arriving.
During the bonus the GIFT symbols carry cash multipliers of up to 250x your bet, while special MYSTERY GIFT symbols reveal values ranging from 25x up to 250x. Activating the optional EXTRA BET before you spin raises your chance of triggering the Xmas Bonus and of landing valuable GIFT and MYSTERY GIFT symbols. If you manage to fill all 15 positions on the grid during the bonus, the total win for the round is doubled, making a full-screen result the standout payout in the game.
As is typical for Amatic fruit slots, the game also includes scatter symbols and a gamble feature you can trigger after a win, letting you risk that payout on a double-or-nothing card guess. Together these additions give the game real depth beyond simply spinning the reels.
Betting Range
Stakes are flexible enough to suit cautious and more adventurous players alike. The bet level can be set low for long, relaxed sessions or raised when you want each spin to carry more weight. Combined with the 20-payline structure and the optional EXTRA BET, the adjustable staking lets you tailor the pace and risk of play to your own preference without committing to large amounts.
