If you liked the original Starburst for its steady pace and frequent small hits, Galaxy will feel like a different game.

Cluster Pays and the Avalanche Engine

The base game uses a 5x5 grid with cluster pays. A win needs three or more matching symbols connected horizontally or vertically, starting anywhere on the grid, so there are no paylines and no left-to-right requirement. When a cluster pays, the Avalanche mechanic removes the winning symbols and drops new ones into the gaps, which can chain into several wins on a single paid spin.

When a winning cluster clears, a Wild is placed at its center. Wilds substitute for every symbol except Scatters, so each Avalanche can leave behind material that feeds the next drop.
